This small project is a perfect way to jump into fusible machine appliqué. It makes a perfect little wall hanging or table topper. The required pattern is $13, available from Denise.
Supplies:
Sewing Machine and basic sewing supplies, including an open-toed
embroidery foot (if you have one).
Quilting Cottons:
Black 19” square
Polka dot (for snowy sky)
Fat quarters (or less) of light green, medium green, dark green, silver or
gold (for stars), and red
Backing 20” square
Binding ¼ yard
Batting 20” square
Threads to match fabrics 50 wt cotton
Decorative top stitching thread – opt. red and black
Fusible web (wonder under, steam a seam etc.)
