The Pixie Crossbody bag is an adorable introduction to bag-making, featuring a roomy interior, pockets inside and out for storage, and a sassy side sling that makes it perfect for every occasion. Even better – it’s so easy to make, that once you finish this class you’ll be able to pull one together in a weekend for any special occasion that may arise!
This bag can be made from a variety of materials, including quilting cotton, denim, vinyl and cork, or mix and match these materials as the whimsy strikes.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE VINYL OR CORK: please make sure your machine can handle sewing up to 4 layers of this material. If you have concerns about your machine, Twisted Stitches has HandiQuilter 510 machines for rent that will work with these heavier materials. Be sure to contact a Twisted Stitches staff member to make sure a machine is booked for your use for class duration.
IF USING CORK – please make sure that the fabric is at least 0.8 mm in thickness. I’ve verified that products purchased from MB Cork are perfect for this bag, but if you purchase from a different source, please be sure to check the specifications!

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we will do our best to help you reschedule when possible.
Classes
Class registrations are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, your class fee will be transferred to another class. The amount paid will be applied toward or cover the new class, depending upon the class selected.
Maker Space Reservations
Maker Space reservations are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your reserved time, the amount paid will be applied to a future Maker Space reservation.
Retreats
Twisted Stitches Sponsored retreats have the following cancelation policy. Please note that private retreats or those organized by outside instructors may have different cancelation policies.
- Cancellations made two weeks or more in advance will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made one week to 13 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made 6 days or less before the retreat are non-refundable.
